Good publicity for running. Surprised they didnt mention prevention of osteoperosis as a benefit, but am pleasantly surprised about osteoarthritis.
Does anyone know of any similar surveys on the benefits of orienteering? If not, perhaps a student or researcher reading this might like to start one? It might produce similar good publicity, and would be evidence we could use to help persuade friends and family to start/restart orienteering.
Subjects to include in the survey:
Life expectancy.
Weight and weight loss.
Happiness.
Subjects best avoided:
Happiness of non orienteering members of the family during multi event season.
Incidence of Obsessive Compulsive Map Reorganisation Disorder.
