all kicked off in the long distance already.
Helen is having a great run by the looks of it, leading at the 2nd radio control.
Chepls a few minutes down on Andreas Müller who was flying last week in Slovenia.

actually, looking at the runners after Mhairi it's looking pretty good for both her and Helen to get on the podium, good skills!

no sign of Scott yet, all the others seem to be through the first control and he's been out for half an hour, did he start?

Great runs from Mhairi and Helen. Lots of time being lost by some good runners -it must have been thick green and tricky. Well done!

I wonder if the GBR lads are saying the same? Didn't go well for them today.

If he started, he didn't get very far. Hopefully he's ok and saving himself for the other races.Becks wrote:What's the news on Scott, did he start today?

Here here! It was so obvious a place for an offical observer too
It was that control (16) that helped Scott back into 3rd: Fabian Hertner made a real mess and gave away 12 secs to Scott (who was quite a way off the pace himself). How Dlabaja did 50 secs is anybody's guess, but let's assume he read the fence gaps early, and the rest hesitated at the x-road

Magne Daehli's route from 8 to 9 seems to have a random wall jump in as well - maybe he's just careless with routegadget?
it's about 230m. I imagine he was in a hurry
