Conclusion, plan A isn't working. Time for plan B. How does everyone else organise their maps so they find the one they need quickly and easily? Also that filing it away isn't cumbersome either. Should be scalable too, I suppose.

Pull the plug Ally, there's nothing we can do to save it. The anoraks have taken over. I thought recent threads actually about orienteering - JWOC and training etc - might have signalled a change, but this is the final blow.
