More photos loaded, finally finished close to midnight last night (anyone know a fast way to load onto Flickr?).
The set on the right has 50 of what I think are the best shots.
Slideshow works on the set of 50 and the whole collection.

Re: Stockport Urban Race
Thanks to all those involved - I really enjoyed running around Stockport.
The upload is dictated by your upload speed, which for UK broadband (/cable/etc.) is fairly poor. If you intend to only make available smaller photos on the flickr (i.e. reducing the image size and quality than the raw photos from the camera) then do the resizing on your computer before uploading. Also, not using your internet connection for anything else while uploading and not trying to upload at peak times helps - I often upload photos overnight.

Re: Stockport Urban Race
Really enjoyed the race, and a big thank you to all the volunteers that helped, a top effort from MDOC.
I felt when I finished that some of the control sites could have been a little harder to find, rather than running through alleys to find the control on a fairly obvious corner of building etc. they could have been tucked away in a few alleys/nooks and crannies but understand why it was decided to do this. For the non-converted it could still look like a treasure hunt without the high profile of the control banners in obvious places.
Perhaps a balance could be achieved in future whereby the controls are obvious in the densely populated areas (such as the centre of town in this case) and give a greater navigational challenge in other areas (such as the estate to the north of the river in Stockport).

Re: Stockport Urban Race
Probably a bit late now, but I won an entry to the http://www.urbanathlon.co.uk this Sunday from this race which I won't use as I am in Kent and the race is in Manchester - so if anyone wants it, PM me and it is yours... It is worth 38gbp but I really cant imagine it actually being good value for money!? especially when you think of what you could eat out on with 38gbp...!
The race was awesome - read all about it and see the map of course in the August issue of CompassSport.
