Re: WMOC 2008
So! does this huge improvement by the Masters Age Classes at intrnational level mean that the Sports Council and in turn BOF will be pouring money into developing elite sport for the older participant?

pyrat & I have been following the M90 battle between Rune & Erkki. Rune looked like the underdog early doors with some amazingly long splits but against the odds managed to win the long final. great work. sport for all.

You should have seen Erkki on the run-in - not just running but he floats along like a youngster

Re: WMOC 2008
Sorry to be pedantic but the WMOC medal table should be amended to show GB ahead of Norway - number of gold medals is first decider, then if two nations are equal the number of silvers etc.

Re: WMOC 2008
Really great event, one of the best ever, superbly organised. Particularly appreciated the closure of fairly major roads within the competition area.
Just one criticism, the failure to break purple lines and control circles obscuring important details. Apart from that, pretty much perfect.
I wonder how many people just did the sprint because it was there, and are now fans of the format? I certainly didn't hear anyone say it wasn't proper orienteering after completing a course.
