Re: JIRC's
Can anyone explain the design on the SWJS tops? Must agree with Ruth. Wonder what the kids think. Perhaps we're just out of touch with O fashion

Re: JIRC's
Good photos but like others was wondering about the design, I think it could be one of the following;
- Something to symbolise the flowering/developing of orienteering talent
- SWJS have a team in the Helston Floral Dance and are using the shirts for that
- The shirts would be easy to describe and spot if anyone went missing, a bit like the arrow covered shirts Victorian prisoners wore
Any other ideas?

Re: JIRC's
The tops are basically the same design as Jeff's 'stylish' shirt, which I'm guessing he wears regularly on SWJS sessions.

Re: JIRC's
Youngster chose the design because they thought Jeff's t-shirt was brilliant.
Got them done in 4 weeks in Italy - no set up cost as we did our own art-work
They all insisted on wearing them all the way home
At a motorway stop on M6/5 - when asked what the team shirts were for - we told members of public that we had been to the flower arranging championships!!!
They believed us!!!
What more can I say
Ps - material is brilliant and much better than many of the orienteering shirts at present on market - italian firm mainly does sports such as cycling which want a quick turn around

Here are some of the photos I took, a very Welsh bias -

but some nice shots of the day nevertheless.

Re: JIRC's
re the flowery tops, it seems SWJS are ahead in the fashion stakes. Quote from male fashion column by Alexis Petridis in a Saturday supplement today
"whether or not you like it, loud floral prints are among this summer's big looks. They've been stuck on shirts, shorts, and suits by every designer from Dolce and Gabbana to Duckie Brown, a label that has overcome a name which makes it sound like a Blackpool transvestite to boast the patronage of Jude Law, Adrien Brody and Matt Damon.
On the catwalk, designers have tended to show several clashing patterns on one model, a look that has the same disconcerting effecton the eyballs as glueing your gace to a Bridget Riley painting"
Perhaps your Italian manufacturers just thought SWJS were another fashion company gearing up for the catwalk?

Sorry - have just replied to your emails - it never occurs to me to check my emails on Nopesport as well - in the past the system used to tell you there was a PM but now it does not seem to do that. Either that or I am useless
Never mind - let me know if nothing arrives
Chris
