Being bored I looked at the names of the teams entered for the various age groups.

I just hope that the MAROC juniors don't live up to their team names! :shock:

That's not as bad as a womens team at the JK relays called "ScrubAIREs".

speaking of relays, if anyone needs a runner to make a complete team then let me know. Not many people making the trip up from SOS but I'd rather run both days if I possibly can to make the long journey worth it.
W21 but willing to pretend to be just about any other class - at the JK relays I was apparently an M65...

Well the team was actually Scrub AIRE (Scrub Hare, Lepus saxatilis)

All the AIRE JK teams were named after types of Hare. But yes a rather unalert team captain (myself) failed to notice until too late that this particular hare had been allocated to a female team. Amazingly I escaped being lynched! :oops:
