BOF AGM Photo identity required

If you want to get into the BOF AGM not only do you need your BOF membership card you also need photo identity now according to the BOF website

It says it's to do with the military security - but given that we haven't been asked to produce that for staying on the camp I don't quite see the logic. I can plant an H Bomb as easily outside the building as in it. (I've just planted one in the Fantasy League )

Oh i can see massive ructions on the door - i wonder who the poor person is who'll have to deal with that! Lots of people won't check that out before they leave home - and my driving licence doesn't have a photo on it! do you think it's actually ethical to introduce additional admission requirements at this stage?

I remember reading somewhere that it was one of Photo id or JK programme or something else to gain entry to the 'jk village'.

The note on the BOF website is just a reminder of the same information that was sent out over 3 weeks ago (see the AGM papers). This isn't an additional requirement.

I stand corrected - so it is - still no bad thing to remind everyone as I had forgotten and don't routinely carry round photo identity. still think it's a bit OTT under the circumstances though

I'm guessing that this is a hangover from a time before all the arrangements with Crowborough Camp were finalised. It seems that photo identity is no longer required.
