You have my personal assurance that the courses are 'interesting' and will challenge the best. Last years winners were David Schorah and Helen Winskill on the Long course

Is it likely that competitors would be able to use the showers at the sports centre?

Also, what time do you expect the chasing starts to be?

I did this event last year, it is really good fun, two really nice sprint areas.

Blanka: Ive just asked the organiser to confirm use of the showers, but Im sure we will be able to blag use of the showers in Armitage Sports centre or the Firs Pavillion where event HQ is [they are seperated by only 30m] and probably lockers as well for those that are travelling by public transport (good bus links from city centre, a bus every 5 mins or less).

The chasing sprints will start as soon as Ive got the marshalls to drag all the controls from Platts fields to Fallowfield Campus, put them in place, have the controller and/or quick runner check them and the chasing sprint list to be complied....it was within 45 minutes from the last finisher last time [I think!]
