Re: Night O-ing Interview on Radio 2
Just heard a really good interview with Allan Williams (controller for the British Night Champs) on Stuart Maconie's radio 2 slot today - excellent! Good coverage for orienteering all round today!

Yes, it seems there is a real concerted effort this weekend to promote awareness of orienteering
All we need now is an article or two in the Sunday papers and there would be coverage across all the media

Excellent interview. Allan actually made it sound exciting.
Only thing missing was "more information from the British Orienteering website"

Yes it would have been nice to get the website mentioned (and I gather they did ask me to get back in touch with some info but I missed that as I was hanging controls at Beaudesert). However putting "Orienteering" into Google.com produces BOF as the 4th ranked page and Google.co.uk has us at the top so I guess most people would find us easily. I had given them some urls in the info that I sent but a chance didn't come up in the conversation to drop them in. I have to say I think Stuart was very professional, he'd clearly read the brief I sent, done a bit of his own research, and asked some good questions. I was please with the way it turned out.
I hope the event this weekend lives up to the hype.
Allan Williams.
