Difference between this and all the other crazy ideas - this one looks fair, fun, and actually workable, I really like the look of this format

It looks remarkably like the old Hagaby format to me....is there any difference at all?

But why tout it as another format for inclusion in WOC? Aren't there enough disciplines there already?

Yeah, it looks like fun, but I don't see what it could add to the present format at all? Good for a World Cup race perhaps, but why try to add it to WOC?

they didn't even have a leg accross the ski jump. thats the best bit about that area

Well a degree of remapping will be needed pretty shortly since the current Holmenkollen will be torn down in spring/summer 2008 and a new ski arena in place for the World Championships in 2011.
