York, because it has been a regular part of our orienteering calendar for several years now, and the planner keeps finding new snickleways.
Glasgow, because the route choices really made a difference and it was good to run round a lovely part of the city in the sunshine after a night in the central Travelodge.
Kingussie, because of the atmosphere of the Scottish Six Days and the spectacle of it on the main road through the town.
Lincoln, because of the historic centre and the exhilaration of running down the steep streets from the cathedral on the hill.
Warwick, because of the butterfly loops through the castle and the control in the moat - brilliant!
Oxford, because there is a surprise around every corner and the colleges just make it.
