Just found out this morning about the tragic death of Dick Amour from INVOC who was out for a run last night and sadly never returned. Dick was a top bloke, good orienteer and a great ambassador for the sport up in Inverness for decades. He will be sadly missed by a lot of folk, condolences to his wife Lesley.
It would be good If INVOC or SOA could create a trophy or award in his memory.

Re: Dick Amour
Dick was a top guy and definitely one of the band of INVOC legends. I was constantly amazed at the speed he could run in the forest. I remember often thinking that I hope I will still be able to run as well as him when I get a bit longer in the tooth. My condolences to his family.

Re: Dick Amour
Very sad news indeed for which I echo the sentiments above, Dick was a fine man and will be sorely missed from orienteering in the north.
