CompassSport Cup Final
Nearly that time of year again. Who will be the teams to beat? Can the mighty SYO triumph this year? Can OD get their hat-trick of wins? Could a southern club take the title?

Yeah it's really exciting. A top tip for everyone coming to race. Blidworth is probably the fastest most lush runnable forest i've seen. You can basically run in shorts if you want to.

Sarum must be favourites for the Trophy. Last year as a small club, can't wait to get amongst the big names in 2008

Sorry Barny of Blandford, but Wimbourne aren't in the CompassSport Cup Final. Maybe you should start another poll for the CompassSport Trophy? Could be just as interesting. Three Scottish clubs! Are they all travelling south???

ESOC aren't, couldn't get enough for a half-descent crack at it. I think RR are travelling, not sure about FVO

Re: CompassSport Cup Final
and who will win the battle of next year's small small clubs, must be one of three welsh teams, and unfortunately I suspect that it will not be SWOC. Need more parents to start producing again.

It's only a few brambles - nothing too serious.

I ran there in the 80s. At the time it was about the worst EM forest, but as most of it was felled this could now be mature, or even felled again?

well time will tell. but I'm telling you, leave the bramble bashers at home, running shorts will be perfectly adequate and save weight for extra speed on those forest tracks
