anybody know
of a scandi club with reasonable terrain where there won't be too much snow in early december?

West coast - effect of warmish sea etc?? (sorry for the Geography speak - once a Geog teacher.......)!!
And as Becky says - effect of 'global warming' for rest of southern part has meant less snow; certainly last year.

Your most reliable bet will be as far south in Sweden as you can go. I'd suggest Pan Kristianstad. Happens to be where my brother lives. They have some good terrain (many Swedes go there to train in the spring when snow still lies up north I gather) and also some good orienteers in the club (WOC medalists in fact).
