The weather forecast is good for the weekend, hopefully not too hot, and the City is looking mighty fine at the moment. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't entered the Men's Open though, it's going to be long and it looks like we're going up the hill twice!

Thankyou to everyone involved in organising the Lincoln event. I really enjoyed my course (Veteran Women), just wish I'd read the description for the penultimate control - the very prickly bush was unforgiving and I still had to go round! Great day.

I'm biased so I'll keep this brief, thoroughly enjoyed today's race, despite punishing myself by running up on the Men's Open, some very testing legs in all senses of the word.
I've uploaded some photos to http://www.mysportstream.com you'll find them in recent photos. Apologies to everyone I caught in action, some "suffered" more than most

Yes, Thanks LOG. Awesome event!
Just a pity that not that many people came to the event. It really is a spectacular venue for a street race and was quite tricky in places in between long road running legs.
And the planning was pretty good with lots of dead ends and round routes near the old ruined parts and cathedral.
