As there's a few people not on the e mail list, here's the info for the inaugural EDS camp:
Hey all!
The first EDS weekend is well on it's way to getting sorted, and I'm looking
for a response now as to whether you'd like to attend or not. The weekend
is:
Friday 21st September: Arrive early evening - sprint race in Ambleside if
there's interest
Saturday 22nd September: Training on Graythwaite and Summerhouse Knott
Sunday 23rd September: MEROC event at Ainsdale Dunes
http://www.orienteers.btinternet.co.uk
Accommodation has been booked for the first 15 participants who want it in
one of the Lodges at Lakeside. Cost to stay here will be £13 a night, and
there will be a group effort at catering on Saturday night. All will be
welcome for this meal on Saturday regardless of where you end up staying.
The aim of the weekend is some quality training pre the SHIs, but all
orienteers who have aspirations to improve their orienteering who are 17 or
over can attend. It will be physically taxing training aimed at athletes
capable of completing a UK Cup Middle or Classic race.
So, I need to know, by e mail to becky.carlyle@gmail.com :
a) Would you like to attend the weekend?
b) Do you require accommodation?
c) Are you interested in a sprint race on Friday evening?
d) Any food allergies?
e) Will you need a hand getting yourself there?
f) Do you want to be added to the mailing list?
g) You must enter yourself for the MEROC event, Closing Date is the 13th
September.
Looking forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!
Becky

(Everyone who has e mailed me so far has a place - I haven't got round to sending an e mail out yet thanks to a hideous weekend of moving)
