looks like the core groups for selection from sprint & long will be JD, Jamie & GG, the women Pippa & Helen B.
Good results today from Scott, Helen W & Jenny should, with another strong showing tomorrow, see them well in contention too.

The top 4 in the men is fairly clear cut, Jamie, JD, GG and Scott. But after that it'll be a tough call. they can still of course select individuals for specific disciplines. Murray/Speake for the sprint, Craney for the middle, Duncan for the long.
Duncan's performances all weekend were really impressive, hes definitely made himself a contender!
looks like pippa's move to goteborg has really paid off too, great results.

Here's my team prediction: Taking into consideration the middle and long finals are back to back on the 22nd and 23rd of August and not everyone will want to run both
Mens Sprint: GG, Jon D, Jamie (or Scott if Jamie opts out) - I really think Jon D should have shot at the sprint.
Mens Middle: Matt Crane, GG, Speake (if jamie wants to do both middle and long Speake drops out and travels as reserve for relay)
Mens Long: Jon D, Jamie, and Scott
Relay: GG, Jon D, Jamie (in no particular order
)
Womens Sprint: Helen B, Pippa, Helen P
Womens Middle: Helen B, Pippa, Helen P
Womens Long: Pippa, Jenny J, Helen W
Relay: Jenny J, Helen B, Pippa
I think Pippa could run all the races but might not chance it, if she chooses not to there is place up for grabs probably in the middle and that will be fight between Jo S and Rachel E

Just back from the races. Three outstanding races in delightful, sunny, well mapped, well planned terrain with excellent competition (albeit far ahead of me!) - I haven't had the chance to see such competitive racing in the UK since, well probably ever. In particular, the times on long were phenomenal.
Whoever came out on top surely deserve their trip to Ukraine.

According to Jon X (who should know), at 2pm today on the BOF website.
And I'd echo Graeme's comments - great terrain, great courses, great competition! Thanks to all involved. Easily the best weekend of orienteering this year so far, and well worth the long drive north from Sheffield.
