orienteering in the news

anyone hear this last night on the news, i heard it on radio 2 at 11.30pm

it said on the radio that they were orienteering!

Yes, also confirmed by ITV:

"Heathlands' head John Watts said the youngsters were on an orienteering exercise in Felbrigg when the tragedy occurred."

The Times article says in one part that the children were "building a den" and in another part that they were orienteering :evil: . Maybe someone misunderstands orienteering, hopefully not me!
