EVO - Park Race is now based at Tamworth Snow Dome, lots of snowy things to do afterwards....

When do the MTBO age classes change? On 1st Jan as in orienteering or on your birthday? I will be 50 in July, so am an M50 for orienteering, but am I a Vet or a Super Vet for MTBO on 23/24th June?

You're still Vet. It is 1st Jan, but it is your age on that date, rather than the age you will be in the year. Confusing and probably should be brought into line. Incidentally these are TCA age classes, not specifically MTBO - MTBO abroad you compete in M21, M40 etc as usual.

That looks awesome, i think i'm gonna enter that as well as the MTBO's now, make it a bit of a tiring weekend, but look s too good to miss!

Hello,

I know this is slightly the wrong forum but never mind...

Could anyone offer me a lift to the Cannock Chase Long O on sunday the 24th from the Southern Brum area (Smelly Oak studentville)? I'm only little so wont take up much space!

Message from planner - who has just phoned me.....
Some of the tracks in Beaudesert are getting quite waterlogged. Not a day for Semi Slicks !!!!!!

He has just spent the last 3 hours with a petrol strimmer making 500m of tracks passable again....

The good news is that the forecast for tomorrow is mainly sunny (with some showers). The going is going to be soft, very soft in places.
