Great Swedish choons being played now. Never a dull moment...
I want to walk up the side of the mountain, I want to walk down the other side of the mountain. I want to swim in the river, lie in the sun. I want to try being nice to everyone.

Oh yeah, the real reason I meant to post...
did Becky run last leg and I just can't see her result? Or what happened there?

Eurgh, back in the lab again after a cracker of a weekend! Everyone sitting watching on the TV should make a huge effort to experience the real thing themselves at least once. Flights to Skavsta are cheap and there's always hard rocking Finns about to hitch lifts off (I'll post a photo of Tess with our great sign when I finally get home). Last leg was awesome, a large mistake in the green stuff and then noticed Anni Mayja Fincke make an even bigger one in the same place, just died at the end and 10 girls went past, grrr!
It's important to note that while the elite side of this event is obviusly big and exciting, there's every level of competitor running here, our B team had Lina's boyfriend on a night leg having never held a compass before. The atmosphere is incredible and the magnitude awe inspiring. Get out there people!

urg, i echo beckys sentiments. both about feeling grotty today having had 1hr sleep on saturday night and spending the majority of sunday travelling home, and of the awesomeness of tiomila! taking over a speedway centre was an inspired idea, sitting watching from the grandstands, bj and ewan getting the football chants on the go, running through the arena halfway through the race. terrain was pretty cool, the temporary bridge over the main oslo-stockholm railway was huge and scary, there seemed to be tv cameras everywhere and the womens race was spectacularly exciting.
mass participation sport at its very best!
