JHI selection races

Did I miss something? I can't find any mention of these on the EOC website(!) and there is nothing on the Start Squad News Archive since last July.
are there any selection races - have they already happened? Anyone know anything?

I have been keeping a look out to, but nothing has been announced to date. With GCSE's looming and already here, our selection race season is now over.

I have just had the following email from Keith Marsden forwarded to me (as coordinator for the EAJS):

Back in January the English Junior Selectors agreed the selection criteria for the Home International.

Unfortunately the e-mail asking BOF office to put the notice on the web was not actioned.

This omission has only recently come to my notice and I am therefore copying all Regional Coordinators with that information.

The attached file lists the selection races as being:

Whitbarrow Scar
JK (both days)
BOC

(with expectation that interested athletes would compete in at least three of these races), together with all known form up to beginning of July.

well I hope the selectors are better at selecting than they are at sendsing out e-mails.

so I wonder what happens if someone fell over and injured themselves at whitebarrow and had to retire - it's a bit late to ask the selectors to take that into consideration.

Write and ask anyway. The last "official" selection event is still more than a week away and if "all known form" to July is being taken into account the decision can't be made until July at the earliest, so you're still well in advance of that. It's not your fault you didn't know Whitbarrow was one of the selection events.
