Greenham Common Score event
A lovely sunny, albeit windy, day. God fun to be able to really run despite the water on the ground! First time I've ever braved going through big stretches of water. Admittedly I watched the guy in front of me and checked it didn't go above his knees! Must check I put my brick down properly at the Finish control though. It was the only one I didn't bother with, honestly!!

Agree that the copious quantities of unmapped water features resulting from the previous night's rain, and the exceptionally muddy marshes were challenging. However, I didn't go for the straight through route choice and I avoided running through as much of it as possible. The biggest challenge was the previous night's hangover and lack of sleep after the New Year party - trying to convince myself that I could stay awake long enough to complete the course was an uncommon thought process to go through mid event!
Thanks to the BADO / BKO team who put the event on for a nice event, complete with sunshine rather than rain.
