I noticed the new junior GBR squad was announced a few weeks ago, and was wondering when/if the senior squad will be announced, or if it is just the same as last year plus the few mid season additions?
I was just curious to see if there had been any new selections or changes. I know the funding is a problem so maybe the squad will be getting smaller in size.
I know the Inaugral is coming up at the start of November so I presume if there is an announcement it will be soon.

New GBR Senior Squad
Nottingham University: September 2000 - September 2009. Staying in higher education for a decade is harder than you think.

well done to those in the squad, old, new and coming back.
Good luck for the forthcoming year.
It'll be interesting to see how tihngs work next year:
"It is invisioned that from next year there will be a more pronounced Performance and Potential group, the criteria for selection to each will be fixed at some point."
I hope this means a 3-tier system, e.g., general squad, then within that those with 'potential' attributes, and those within 'performance'. Means you can target money to those you want to (which is fair enough) without making the overall squad too small.

Good squad selection I think. Especially pleased to see Neil Northrop get his chance.
I think its important if the squad is eventually split into 2 groups that alot of thought is put into how the potential group will develop into Performance athletes. There must be a good coaching structure and organisation in place for the potential group if its athletes are to be successful.
