GRAMP Long O @ Bogendreip and Glen Dye

Hi folks

Just a sneaky wee post to try and rally up some interest for the Long O which is on Sunday 22nd October at Bogendreip (Scottish Relays 06) and Glen Dye (Scottish Champs 06).

Full compliment of usual Colour Coded courses PLUS the added bonus of two extras... a Medium Long of 14km and a Long Long at a whopping 18.4km, both with only 3% climb !! Both courses will visit most parts of the area, which having just spent 3 hours out there today is just amazing at this time of year. :D

Long Courses and Brown use an A3 @ 1:15000 map, all other courses on A4 @ 1:10000 (bring along a map bag)

you all coming up to play? cool i hope so, i'll be there, trying some orienteering, 1st event for a wee while!!

remember to watch the rat race on tv before you drive up though 8am sunday 22nd channel 4

It is special, but not from a pre entry format... i hope we've judged the number of maps correctly though... 25 sound enough ?

How many folk are EUOC planning on taking up and how many are going to brave the long long ?

And if the SEDS are coming along how many might be there and wanting to run the long courses ?

Any clues might save us running short of maps on the day, doubt folk are gonna want to wait for a map to be available. :roll:

EUOC aren't coming up as a group- there are too many weekends going on.
