I have dark side of the moon in four formats:
Tape (bought)
Vinyl (bought)
CD (bought)
mp3 or similar media player format (copied off CD)
London calling on CD only and many classics on vinyl that never quite seemed worth their while transferring to another format.

There are some albums best listened to with headphones on and eyes shut. None of this video distraction. And there are some albums which the rest of my family only allow me to listen to with headphones (eg Hawkwind's Space Ritual).

the scratch on my copy of eat to the beat (which I have taped) is like a time machine, There is something magical about that 33rpm rhythm.
