Very technical terrain...
...probably the best orienteers for the job must be really technically capable (and probably from around the yorkshire area...
)
Some grand performances considering the crazy conditions. Well done all!

So, a bit like Thetford Chase then. EA orienteers would have excelled on this.

these are very long times coming in on the live results, presumably runners are seeded with tthe fastest last? (see Simone is last out of on Women's anyway)
just trying to catch up on this competition,so another naive question, do GBR officially send a team or do top orienteers elect to go themselves (or not as case may be)?

There are some very long times. I wonder if windblow is an issue.
The runners are seeded by IOF ranking so times should get faster. This is a GBR team, selected by BOF.

Thanks SIman, looks like a good run from Mhairi then, but some of these 160 minute runs from nationally selected teams must mean it's very rough out there!

French were rather sure Thierry would win by a large margin. Probably only 4 mins, as Novikov and Lakinen are on board with him. Hott Johansen appears to have missed the train - oops.
Kauppi managed to recatch Simone, so another 4min margin there since Marianne Anderson missed out - these Norwegians really need to learn to read the timetables
Choo choo!
