Another OCAD question
I wish to put some extracts of the club's areas on our website, I am using OCAD 8 but cannot find a way of "cutting" a small section of the map and pasting it into a blank OCAD map. I am trying to cut the map ocd file not a course setting file if this makes any difference. I will then link the ocad files to the website. Any ideas from you OCAD boffins?

1) Open map in OCAD
2) Select Extras:Partial Map...
3) Click on Define and you can then drag the rectangular box to define the area you want to export.
4) Seclect Extras:Partial Map... again
5) Now click OK and it will ask you for a file name to save the map extract.
Putting it on a web site and working out who to pay money to is another story all together.

If you want an irregular shape, use, say, the purple line symbol and draw around the exact shape you want.
Go to partial map and check the 'use selected object' button. Save the map. Then you can load it and any other bits of map into a new OCAD map. Great for puzzles etc!!!
