Heard on the news this morning, Steve Irwin has left us for that final adventure.
Gutted. Still can't believe it. He died doing what he loves.
David Attenborough on singing his praises. "A great man, conservationist, environmentalist and loving father."
Terry Nutkins on the other hand, on Radio 1, saying something along the lines of, if you aggrevate wild animals you will get bitten.
what a twat.
Steve was naturally good at what he did. His death is a loss to all creatures.

He must be quite gutted that the end, when it came, didnt involve the jaws of a crocodile or an 8m spider or even a killer whale although since only 2 people have died from getting stung by a ray he didnt lose all credibility. RIP you absolute legend.

First thing my housemate said to me when I got up "Steve Irwin's dead."
Hope there's plenty of crocs wherever he's gone. Be cracking open a crate of Aussie beers tonight in tribute. RIP Steve, legend and idol.

Darwin awards crossed my mind too Ben, alas he's already had kids.
But he was always an entertaining guy to watch. Plus, he really cared about nature and conservation, and got a whole load of kids interested in too, so he deserves respect for that.
There's a report from the Daily Star that you can take with as much salt as you like that his final film will be broadcast. "It's what he would have wanted". Or something.

It's a magical world. Let's go exploring.
