Hi Everyone,
This year the ShUOC Aviemore Trip will be held from the 9th-16th September 2006. We have a few spaces left and wondered if any other students or prospective students (especially if you are going to be in Sheffield next year) would like to come and train with some of the ShUOC Squad. We will be staying at Speyside Leisure Park, (Aviemore) and the cost will be around £75 each for the week.
Some awesome Scottish terrain will be used for O-training along with golf, poker and mountain running sessions for those not that interested in the orienteering.
If you are interested then please email shuoc@sheffield.ac.uk
We would like to finalise the booking pretty soon so replies asap please!
Thanks,
mat-d

Dear ShUOC'ers, Have a great time in Scotland. The forests are great and you will have a good time.
Please respect the work of the National Centre and ensure you use areas and register your training through the right channels. Stu is very accommodating.
Have a top time.

i say let them have free range of the area.
don't tell NOC where they are going.
don't get land permission for what they are doing.
don't get maps from the guy that has the maps.
then when they get back, we can get each and every one of them disqualified from the Scottish 6 Day for entering embargoed areas.
sure make the competition easier.
wattok - do a spot inspection one afternoon - get a list of names, and get them kicked in the nuts.

what you are talking about mharky? We would never have an organised training session without permission
