I have just taken over from Roger Coombs as the SOA webmaster and have made some changes.
I have re-structured the folder layout and re-named most pages. This means that you may need to update your Bookmarks/Favorites to the new locations. The home page is now found at:
http://www.scottish-orienteering.org/soa/index.html
This is only a quick interim measure and does not include the latest in web design standards. Read more about the future..

I spotted the change last night. Good luck with the web development, Paul. I'll particularly look forward to checking out Routegadget on a regular basis.
All the best wishes to Roger and family for their stay in Norway. I guess the Nordmarka will be some consolation for missing the Deeside forests, and I'm sure you will have lots of visitors!

I take on board that the Scottish 6 Days links could be more obvious.
I have added further links on other pages in case people miss it on the front page.
If it is the spelling of 'Favorites' that is the problem, I took the decision that as that is the way Microsoft spell it in Internet Explorer it would be how people recognise it.
I am happy to receive both positive & negative feedback about the website. It is only by hearing what people like / dislike that the site can evolve into a useful resource for orienteering in Scotland.

So now the orienteering world is ruled by Microsoft.... stick to Scottish spelling... it's a Scottish site not a Yank one..
And Firfox don't call it that... so can we get a version so that all us Firefox users can recognise it as well????

Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

Firefox is my main browser too, but unfortunately IE has the major market share. If I only mentioned bookmarks some people wouldn’t know what I was talking about.
I did mention 'Bookmarks' as well.
..so you may need to update your Favorites/Bookmarks
