Great event - for a MTBO virgin I can say I was completely cream crackered at the end. May need to think a bit more about bike route choice and kit for next time. Forget the compass - never used it.

Yesterday we had problems with control vandalism (metal stakes zip-tied to trees, boxes zip tied to stakes, so they managed to break the metal stake and steal the box that way ). Today we have had anti-vandalism - the planners had put out stakes in advance leaving the banner on the ground ready to be hung by the box putter-outer, and some helpful members of the public have gone around hanging the banners up for us!

You can tell that todays event is on the north end of the Chase and yesterdays headed south

Thanks for todays event - I really enjoyed it, even if I didnt look as if I did! I was trying to smile, honest, but I was so knackered I could only manage a grimace.
Will there be a next year?

Really enjoyable day. Thanks - these events are much more fun than the usual colour coded or regional event. Variation is a real winner.

Great event, Stodge. Thanks too to all the other Chasers who helped. Nice course, a good variety of terrain, and as Mikey says, it's great to have a different kind of event every so often. Roll on next year, but could it not be the weekend after the LAMM?

Great fun - thanks to all involved. The heat was tough towards the end of the course (didn't realise shorts were allowed) but a great way to spend a Sunday!

thanks for a good event. that SIS drink got me round, it's just a good job I "borrowed" my girlfriends camel back otherwise i'd have really struggled. Shame she had to do 16km without one! Am i really that mean.

Wanting to get back for the football is a real motivating factor to keep running! I must try it more often.

Nope - County Council owned land, the bits where we are allowed to train in terrain in the summer but not compete
