well while on holiday for the past week and being unable to train i've followed Pasi's great leadership and have been putting in the hours on catching features instead. has anyone got onto the gunstock map yet? its crazy terrain, good jobby tho. The MIT sprint race is pretty sweet too.

and start getting involved in the monthly races that are happening (no cheating mind) but how come Thierry Gueorgiou is so damn good?

anyway, does anyone fancy a wee online game sometime this week?

i think some french guy is just sending in jobby times... once i get my laptop (mum :lol:

) then i will be mastering the Sherman map, its a beast...

how do u get the maps filed so they work

OK off the top of my head as i amn't on my own computer...
when you download the map files, unzip them but make sure that you unzip them so that they are filed like:
Program Files\CatchingFeatures\maps\intro

So if you have something like
Program Files\CatchingFeatures\maps\Northern Everett\AFSFS-SADSFSFS\
it should just be:
Program Files\CatchingFeatures\maps\AFSFS-SADSFSFS\

if you've seen stuff like this when trying it out you'll know what i mean i hope...

would it be a crazy question to ask what catching features is and how you get it? It sounds quite fun and I'm always on the lookout for new ways of work avoidance. . .

Hey El - tis an orienteering game. You can download a demo that works - just Google it- but the full version costs you 30 dollars or contacts! Being a computer retard taking bearing tooks me ages to figure out where as my bloke (who's orienteered three times) picked it up straight away. D'oh. :oops:

I have got it, but not played it much. The best feature is setting up a server and having an online game. You can even abuse the other person while you are playing!

i do - only got it a couple of days ago tho coz we've recently got a PC, before we only had a Mac and u cant play it on macs. still getting to grips with it so im not up the extras yet
