Trimtex vs Craft
And why (preferably from people who have had experience of both!)

Craft have spent a whole mass off money developing their products over the last 2 years - Trimtex certainly hasn't invested in the same way.
Crafts current range of goods is way above Trimtex in quality and not crazy expensive either.
1-0 to Craft

I'm not sure about either!
Didn't the Craft kit all fall apart at the European Champs costing Lillywhite his run effectively.
and you can forget Trimtex Extreme if you are female/normal as the tops are designed for snake-hipped boys (well have you seen those middle aged Mdocs in theirs
it embarrassing)
I guess it's a question of who you want them for.

haven't got experience of both of the tops, but when I was looking at getting kit for ESOC, looked at prices for them all.
Have to say ISC were the cheapest and good quality: £21 top and trousers for traditional type kit. I know ISC do their own type of fitted tops, and they make a lot of the branded kit for Silva, noname, etc
Kapella (the squad had the same problems with ripping on some of their tops) & Trimtex were around the same at just over £30 for their tops. Never did get the price for Craft.
Noname are another one to throw into the mix, Laser printing and free designs. Similar price to the Kampella and Trintex (ask oli johnson, the uk rep). Might make the club a bit more individual as nearly everyone has the Trimtex tops these days.....

i have to say that i liked the trimtex tops better than craft initially, the material feels nicer. although, now i've got used to the craft tops and both are pretty good.
noname have just brought out a womens version of their extreme top - perfectly designed for those with hips! i'd probably chose noname (but then i am sponsored by them!!)

It totally depends on what you want them for. If its for the O'suits then I'd go with Noname, the do the Combat top or a more traditional style top. our (NOC)Combat tops cost around £28.50 for a bulk order (over 50) with two colours used for the laser printing (the more colours the greater the cost). You can do whatever design you want and with help from the Noname designers.
Trimtex do similar but to have the laser printing I believe costs more than Noname. Without printing their tops are quite plain and many clubs are starting to look the same.
Craft only do the more traditional style tops and no printing. I don't know much about the Kampela kit.
It its tracksuits etc Craft and Noname both do good kit.

No experience of either as one look at cost and people other than Svelt youngsters in them made me look elsewhere. Did eventually buy ISC( I think) from a bargain rail, cut OK for middle age female I hope(haven't worn it yet competitively). Seeing the damage that husband has done to any kit he has I'd be reluctant to spend lots particularly on trousers. It's great to be able to afford to pose or to wear great kit when someone else pays for it. Mind you Craney did have to take the sexuality banter when wearing his

NOC's great new tops are noname seem ok to me but 'cos they are a mens fit mine is a bit long
GRAMP have just got new Noname tops and tracksuit tops. They are a bit long but the material is very lightweight and they are great to run in, even in hot weather. Tracksuit tops are a little larger than we expected but means you can fit over a couple of layers.
Craft stuff is OK but can be quite heavyweight on hot days. Have not tried the Trimtex extreme but looked quite thick fabric too.

So what's wrong with my new Ultrasport pyjamas then?
(Apart from the 7 week delay and the light blue being darker than it should be?)
Can't really comment as haven't seen the Craft stuff in real life, but I always liked the Trimtex design. Club's view was that they were too figure hugging (and Helly Hansen's aren't
) so they ordered pyjamas instead.

where were you looking? there was a kampella tent by the supermarket at near the event centre and almost all tops + trousers were SEK150, not £40 by my calculations.

I have a couple of Trimtex red/blue/white O-tops (the standard nylon type rather than the new style) that I bought in over a decade ago and have worn a lot. Both still come up like new in the wash - nothing like the ragged and very tired look that O-tops of that age normally display.
