Laptop Batteries

Anyone know of a place in Edinburgh I can get a laptop battery 'off the shelf'. Only in UK for 24 hours so needs to be local to Edinburgh.
Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

you could try Maplin Electronics on Dalry Road (beside Somerfield)

if not there, then Silicon Group accross the road. (A little less reputable, but has more stuff than you can shake a large shaking stick at)

Laptop batteries are so specific to make and model that finding one in a shop is going to be difficult. You could probably ring a shop like silicon and ask them to get one in for you if you give them enough time. Otherwise your best bet is to have someone already in Edinburgh source you one and hold onto it.
