Lost

'Orientation' how spooky is that. Now the world of orienteering is Lost. Is this some kind of experiment to see if two people will believe they hold the fate of the world in the push of a button and be willing to sit it out in some subterranean lab (albeit with lava lamps)? Must have a look at the Hanso foundation after this.

Don't you just hate it when they throw in red herrings?! I thought there was going to be some mysterious explanation for Jin's sudden conversion to english like Locke's ability to walk, and..it was all a dream. Reminds me of the kids' essays when I used to teach English!
And why 108 minutes? Why not some multiple of 60?

I'm sure they're doing it on purpose now. Like the dharma symbol. In a show with plenty of ambiguous imagery, open to multiple interpretations, they show a symbol surrounded by I-ching hexagrams. That's either very meta, or they're taking the piss. Same with the numbers. Look hard enough, and you find any number anywhere, like the Discordians' law of fives.
OMG!!1!!one!! 23 is one of the numbers! 2+3=5! Hail Eris! Kick out the JAMs melonfarmers!
But I'll keep watching. I'll just have to try and stop speculating and enjoy the ride. Whatever mysteries there are, I don't think they can be solved by the information we've been presented with, no matter how smart we (think we) are.
It's a magical world. Let's go exploring.
