we've got the files for the JK but had a few problems setting it up and now exams have got in the way , will get there eventually!

and busa, and the first round of the fcc, but like brooner says, our computers/servers don't want to play.

exams are over soon, then we'll have another go. and charge you £50 for the pleasure so we don't have to go out into the real world to get a living

Great fun - it doesn't show where I had to try twice to climb over a barbed wire fence and got caught up in it! Come on W16s put your super fast routes on for Course 9 so you can see how you all beat the slow selector!

Beware the OS though when publishing full maps. We purchased a licence to allow us (we think) to use route gadget and put other full maps (eg BEOC Long) online. Other clubs have been forced to remove such maps under threats of legal action.

This is a great program. But we need more people and clubs to know about this, meaning people upload their course after every event, so it is a really useful tool, like Winsplits and SplitsBrowser. It is also good to go to the website; http://www.routegadget.net and see routes of people in other countries. (Get the JK one ready soon please!)

does anyone else think duncan's splits are loaded incorrectly? He seems to be too incredible on all the long legs and too slow on all of the short ones.
Or was it really like that?

I was on the way to number 3 and ...... a massive spike came through my shoe and i had to crawl the next few controls. However, despite near death due to severe blood loss, Chuck Norris inspired me and i fought on through the extreme pain. This hindered my progress for the rest of the course. Furthermore I spotted, whilst tending to a dead sheep, a distracted Dougie spying out the last part of the course. On seeing me, he leapt on my back and his foul stench and enormous bulk took their toll on me to 15.

My dreams of Jwoc were quickly slipping away and I had to call on all my strength to run the last km in 22s. I even surprised myself seeing as though if I had been lucky I would have run the entire course in under five minutes. Mega.

Procrastination is an art.

All of EckO's maps were produced by photogrammetric plot and not an OS base map, so shouldn't be a problem for us.

But the whole issue of putting O maps on club websites needs to be sorted out, as this is going to be more of an issue in the very near future. I am not sure if this should be done by the BOF map group or someone else?

The joys of censorship - thanks to our beloved gouging O$. There used to be a country that confiscated maps at the finish - reminds me a little of that.

Nice of the OS to inconvenience and harrass one of its main customer groups - I wonder what the total value of maps are in the orienteering households of Britain - how much do we spend?

The European Champs are using Route Gadget too, GG's route is online so far, but not many others.

I think Ross might need to edit his route from 4-5, cos where he thinks he went, and where i saw him go may be slightly different

is there any way to edit routes once they've been saved? looks like cool software.. v. interesting to play with..only i messed up when drawing my route on and clicked on the 3+ button, up to my time before the fastest split... no idea why but it means now, when the routes are played, i finish before jess... who actually beat me or can you delete them so i can re enter it?
