Advice for BOC/JK Prize-Gving Organisers in the Future...

I am still in possession of a number of unclaimed medals from BOC and BRC 2006. 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 8 Bronze.
If you are one of those lacking a medal then please get in touch so we can arrange transfer

I am still in possession of a number of unclaimed items awarded at JK 2006. 4 Gold, 10 Silver and 15 Bronze medals (supplied by BOF) along with their associated prizes (supplied by Sponsors).
If you lack any of these items or even a trophy because you did not attend the award ceremonies then please get in touch so we can arrange transfer...
PS There are still some BOC/BRC awards that remain unclaimed

People will miss prize-givings, it's a fact, which means lots of the new (and I think, fantastic) BOF medals will go unclaimed. What seems to have happened this year is that BOF were not told who these medals belong to, and so they have to advertise them on their wesbite.

This is what should happen. At the prize giving there is a person, this person has a pen and paper (preferably a list of all prize winners). This person then records who has (or hasn't) collected their prize (of had it collected for them). That way BOF will know who the medals belong to and they will get to their rightful winners sooner. Also, I know of someone who didn't go to the JK prize-giving and 2 helpful people both collected the medal for that person... aditionally, there is no reason why someone couldn't go an collect the prizes if they notice someone isn't there, nothing like a free t-shirt.

I hope this will be a succesful intervention.

Mharky, at the JK individuals at least, a guy was taking down classes and positions of who wasn't at the prize giving.

Now ask why there are still unclaimed prizes!

From the British there will be some because they were told they were not entitled to prizes unless they attended prize giving when they tried to claim them the next day.

if they had a prize giving at a sensible time/location it would be much easier, lots of people can't always make it for various reasons.

Umm... sorry not sure i've ever picked one of those up. I've not been to an event in EA for a number of years and My House/My Parents House does not have an EAOA trophy in it i'm afraid! -Nought to do with me.
