David Brickhill-Jones has withdrawn from the team due to injury.

The following athletes are selected for the forthcoming events in Estonia, relay team in brackets:

Men: Rob Baker (2), Matt Crane (1), Jon Duncan (1), Graham Gristwood (2), Oli Johnson (2) and Jamie Stevenson (1).

Women: Helen Bridle (2), Rachael Elder (1), Sarah Rollins (1), Claire Ward (2), Jenny Whitehead (1) and Pippa Whitehouse (2).

Athletes are reminded that the focus for the programme is to achieve top 10 positions at the World Orienteering Championships; for that reason we have chosen to select a full team for the European Championships in order for the athletes to demonstrate their ability to achieve those targets.

The competition for places was very tight; those missing out will no doubt be taking the opportunity of training hard through May to challenge for the WOC Team at the selection races in Denmark in June.

Delighted to see Rob on the team, but surely the point is he *isn't* a legend - nobody expected him to be in the team a month ago. Its nice to see that that if you run well in the selection races, you will get selected.

I think Rob and many of the Sheffield posse thought he might stand a chance given his early season form. He's my 'Personal Legend' anyway

Well done to Rob, he deserved the selection. Congrats to everyone else, and good luck when the time comes
