Puzzling manufacturer's instructions

As the UNISON action has forced me to be at home today, sob, I thought I'd crack on with all the work I have to do...then I thought I'd share with you the unusual instruction on the insoles in husband's new trainers..PLEASE DO NOT IRON!

Anyone else come across strange sporty clothing/equipment instructions - and who out there secretly irons their insoles???

My husband's got a common brand name cycling gilet which is hand-wash only. Great after a muddy commute to work every day! How dumb

I buy all my stuff with the 'Wash and Iron by Wife' label in them.
They always look clean and smart !! :D

Lots of "wash and iron by wife" labels to be found, but the designer, cool labels say "wash and iron by husband". Has anyone ever seen one of those :lol: ?
