Yes, it's that time of year again... SPRING CUP.
The Edinburgh posse are taking off soon on their way to Denmark for what looks like being the best spring cup in the history of spring cups ever!
Most of the British Squad are competing in what looks like the higest standard event there has ever been, inlcuding WOC's.
So here's what I think might happen
Night Sprint: Most people are being lame and saving themselves for the classic
Classic:
On the women's I think Simone Niggli wil take it, but Emma Engstrand and Minna Kauppi, and Vroni Konig-Salmi will make sure it is a race worth winning. The start list is trully amazing, I don't over exagerate when I say it might be better than WOC. British Interest comes in the form of Heather Monro, Helen Winskill, Helen Bridle, Rachael Elder, Jenny Whitehead, Clair Ward, Pippa Whitehouse, Karen Heppenstall and Helen Palmer.
As for the Men's, Oh... My... God... what a race that is going to be. This is surely the finest field ever. At minute intervals it is going to be crazy, and calling a winner, impossible. There are going to be some very good packs forming... Stevenson, Lakinen and Crane... Khramov, Haldin, Ikonen...
It's impossible to pick a prediction out of the start list, but I think Jamie Stevenson could just do it. Danish XC Champion, living in Denmark, and on a Mission for WOC Classic, this could be a great starting point for his season.
Other Brits: Matt Crane, Oli Johnson, David Brickhill-Jones, Jon Duncan, Nick Barrable, Ewan McCarthy, Dan Marston, Graham Gristwood, Matt Speake, Ed Nash and Rob Baker
And in the Relays... Ulricehams in the Women's... I'd say Tuna could have done it, but it looks like Maarsell aint running the relay.
The men's, I think France will take it. Gonon, Adamski, Renard and Gueorgiou. What a team, they won the world cup last year.
Vajakosken Tera also have a awesome line up, as well us the usual suspects Halden. The mighty Stora Tuna have a strong team of people who you don't know but are actually quite good and very very fast.
The Top 10 last leg starters in the relay will be wearing GPS

As the story on the front page reported over an hour ago - along with all other British results.

The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.

Actually when you look at the elite results they are preety bad... Jaimie number 3... great.... and thats on the back of almost £500000 last year...
Looks to me as if GA influence has finally left GB orienteering... but maybe the summer will prove me wrong.. hope so:)
