How long in time to get from the relay venue to Gatwick Airport on a Sunday? I need to dump a hire car and catch a 16:00 flight back to Vilnius.
Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

Around an hour, unfortunately car parking for the relay is not so convenient for those wanting to head East and Sussex roads do see their fair share of "Sunday Drivers".

About control descriptions... it say's they will only be available in the start lanes. Thats fine but will there be a provision to attach them to your arm.... thinking of some clear packing tape, scissors & someone to assist....

Not sure, however we've given the dimensions of each description sheet so that hopefully most competitors will bring along a suitably sized holder.
All courses do additionally have descriptions printed on the front of the map.

That means I'll need to go & buy one. Another added expense of attending events in UK. Typical

Do you throw control holders away? Otherwise it's a one off or maybe once in ...... investment. You can make your own if funding is tight. You only need an old map bag some scissors and tape, plus a Blue Peter Presenter

Diets and fitness are no good if you can't read the map.

Shouldn't be a problem. I imagine Gross will want to stick them to a part of his anatomy that he can actually see when he's running...

Orienteering is Fun!
So let's have more Fun for more Feet in more Forests!

Anyone recommend any maps of similar areas for me to look at. I've seen the map samples on the website to give me an idea. I need all the advantage I can get to hopefully secure that 50th place and UK Cup point from the Elite entry of 54 people!!!
