Indeed it went ahead!

Edinburgh take the women's relay by miles, a much closer men's race saw Sheffield just pip Edinburgh to the post.

1. Sheffield
2. Edinburgh
3. Edinburgh

Women
1. Edinburgh
2. Durham
3. Oxford

So Edinburgh win overall - the legends live on!

Fantastic weekend, thanks to all involved. It was brilliant!

Six inches of snow definately made life difficult on those slopes! Had to use one control as an anchor whilst i punched.

Great to See Durham in the results for the relays, the more uni's that establish a team the better. The more choice for aspiring Orienteers.

A bit unfortunate for the ShUOC Ladies with a lost SI-Card but it was a great race, right down to the wire!

Well done to all who took part, making it a spectacular winter wonderland yesterday! (Even if it was freezing!!)

credit to the sheffield boys for some very strong running yesterday, denying us the double!

note to self: hold onto your map, especially when sliding downa 25m bank on your bum!

also a note to whoever had to get me to rescue their map on the slide that was #17!

I'm just glad i managed to cling onto that control to stop me continuing the rest of that slide down to the bottom, i dread to think what trying to get up that slope would have been like!

not too bad with 12mm spikes, hate to think what the swoops would have made of it - blessing in disguise that they fell apart on saturday!

Back at Achray on Sunday and you would have been running in over a foot of snow! Had to cancel Sunday's MTBO :cry:

Couldn't get to Achray, let alone mt bike!

And you would have been riding in a foot of mud on most of the tracks if the snow wasn't there. A quote from kitch from saturday: "Big machines make big mess."

Loved the relay in the snow too.
