I do now and I reckon you've made a mistake with the line that should be:

(I'm guessing you have" \put(8.5,3){\circle *{0.5}} % wheel 1:dot" )

it should be 7.5 but something is indeed amiss- the three circles for the front wheel are concentric and the outer two circles are fine with the same co-ordinate...

If anyone really wants it my boyfriend corrected the tex, have to wait until I get home tonight to put it up though.
