Comment re junior forum O Kit topic
This is an area visited from many angles before. The Scottish juniors and Welsh juniors have got nice new O Kit but the English haven't. Why they ask? Most of the English probably have nice regional squad kit, that's what the Welsh and Scot's are they operate like our regions. The EOA is a different concept in funding and every thing. I agree the kit is pyjama like, however I can also see some of the older EOA team not perhaps looking quite so svelte in the current fashionable kit. The English juniors are selected for an event and are not a squad like the Scots Welsh and Irish so they don't have fund raising opportunities, and there is not the funding to supply kit (of any kind) on selection.
Diets and fitness are no good if you can't read the map.

Thats coz BOF pretends to be English most of the time & the EOA as a national governing body is non-existant... so juniors when you grow up then support the concept of the 4 home nation model... if your parents & club mates had done so some years ago you'd be able to go to the competitions in more fashionable kit:)
Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

Yeah, could have different names on the front and back just to confuse people - like a certain Mr Crouch

May I sugest that we put the word "orienteering" on national kit. My M16 start squad member wears his kit in cross country races and I always feel it is a wasted opportunity to publicise o to an audience who might well be interested in o.
Take a close look at the front of the ScotJOS kit when they fly past at events this summer... it clearly states "Scottish Junior Orienteering Squad" on the front
