Loads of snow here, probably a foot and a half or more. Was well tough running in it today, felt you were running in a marsh all the time - dust off the XC ski's i say!
Was running down this forestry road with snow at just under knee level. When i got to the bottom where it had been cleared i met my housemate and a group of walkers putting on their snow shoes to go up the path i'd just gone down! Thought it was quite funny!

Theres about 3 feet of snow outside the window at the moment. I escaped the house this morning to ride jumps on my snowboard. Think I have had between 50 - 60 days on the snow this season so far. Its been some of the best fun I have ever had.
The xc skiing is still good so going to do that after dinner. I am going ski orienteering this weekend which I am really looking forward to. I do skate skiing on classic skis as skate rocks the house. Need to build a DIY map carrier though, like mtbo but you strap it to your belly.
Just got some new soft snowboarding boots for £12, bargain. There is a great snowboarding documentary I watched today called first descent, its just out on dvd, check it out its ace.
