Anyone know someone who'd be up for the following?
BBC television is looking for the fittest, boldest male adventurers to compete in 8 of the most challenging competitions in the macho world of tribal sport. if you've got what it takes to race across mountains with indigenous Indians in Mexico, wrestle with fierce Nuba wrestlers in Sudan, compete in traditional stone lifting challenges in Tahiti, or take part in fire throwing contests in the Northern Territories of Australia, then this is your chance. If you're over 18 and have a sports skill or you know someone else who you think would be perfect for this programme, please email hannah.griffiths@bbc.co.uk for an application form as soon as possible (closing date Feb 3rd, 2006).

Regrets...
A little bit of feedback on this thread.
I got as far as swapping e-mails with the TV production company, and borrowing a camera for a weekend, but I never applied, mainly because I didn't really want to leave my new job after a matter of months, NOT because I'm a wimp!
Did anyone go for it?
Anyway, my decision made a bit of a mockery of the sentiment expressed in my 'sign-off line' below:
