New Year resolutions
I think a lot of people would do well to criticise BOF when justified, not just slag it off: perhaps they should make that their NYR?
My NYR is to use the compass less and the map more.

My NYR was to arrive in W50 with a cracking result in the first event of the year and so set out my stall to the competition - so promptly went seriously off the map heading towards the second control, crossed a raging torrent several times, followed what looked like a very likely path which ended in a private garden of a very large mansion, excused myself to the puzzled youngster on the swing, hurriedly backtracked to re-cross raging torrent, failed to accept that the control I found was the final one, headed off in another 180 degrees the wrong way and plummeted down the results. It can only get better. My splits make good reading!
