Why is Neil Conway reserve for Interland???

I hope you mean "Why is Neil Conway selected as reserve and not in the first team" but maybe you don't.

Anyway, Iain has a record of 2 wins in the selection races and I have a 1st and a 2nd. He beat me by about a minute at Kilnsey, the only selection race we both ran. Given the published selection criteria I don't think there is much argument.

I do think using selection races 5 and a half months before the event is a bit dodgy, but if I was really bothered I would have pointed this out before the races.

I presume "all known form" doesn't appear in the selection criteria (I can't check, because I haven't been able to find where the criteria are published), in which case as you say it's all about the 4 races.
