The worst website in the world
If you have ever been on the BOF website you will have probably thought "gee, this is the worst website in the world". that is untill you visit the English O' council website.

"under construction" Pages like this are not helpful, particulary in the beginners section. It's been like this for at least 6 months.

Not having a go at BOF just answering the question "what issues do you have with it?"

agreeing with Mharky about the EOC site, mainly because of the links to word documents for news and selections, thinking you'll get some info, only to find a series of links to pdfs back on the BOF site. Horrible way of doing things - it would be hard to make anything worse than that...
Please someone sort it out!

and definitely a better search function than on the bof website... how many times have you searched for something like "start squad" on the bof search engine only to be told "search too broad". thank goodness for google!

How come no-ones come on & shouted at people for sniping at BOF yet???? Must be me:)
The real problem with the EOC website is the EOC itself... it's a non-entity & is hardly supported in anyway by English Orienteering. If orienteering in the UK was to follow the 4 Nations model with BOF acting purely on matters relating to 'national' (UK) & international issues then England would soon be better organised... whether that makes a good website or not is another matter

They also have scottishorienteering.org and orienteeringcanada.com... domain squatters, close cousins of email spammers.
Stop talking, start running.
